Our exclusive, premium quality OUTBLACK SILK FR blackout is manufactured using micro-fibre yarns that create the ultimate soft handle fabric. Available in narrow and wide width for flexible usage; it is ideal for adding extra body to high quality lighter weight face fabrics, whilst improving draping qualities. It has a three-pass blackout coating offering complete light exclusion and extra protection from the sunlight. Its thermal properties keep sound levels down and the heat in and cold out. It also has the added benefit meeting British flame retardant standards for that extra protection. As a specialist provider of blackout linings since the 1930s, we have built up quite the reputation as the industry leader and largest supplier of blackout fabrics in the UK and Europe. Our many years of manufacturing experience has resulted in expert techniques being developed to add additional performance benefits.
When insulation is a priority, choose from our selection of thermal linings to regulate room temperature throughout the year. Our single pass thermal lining is ideal for use where economy is a key factor, but thermal insulation is still a requirement. It is manufactured using a Polyester Cotton face fabric and an acrylic thermal back coating to add extra body and thermal properties. This coating increases its thermal properties; keeping sound levels down and the heat in and cold out. It offers light protection by reducing the amount of external light that enters the room and is also available in narrow and wide width for flexible usage.
This particular Duoline is created by bonding our popular Outblack blackout lining (fabric face out) to a Polyester fleece – the fleece is specifically useful when a nice crisp fold is required for roman blinds. The three-pass blackout coating offers complete light exclusion and extra protection from sunlight. Thermal properties keep sound levels down and the heat in and cold out. Using a Duoline is the perfect way to reduce make up time for curtains and blinds, whilst creating opulent window treatments and improving the insulation levels of any room. The Duoline is placed at the back of the face fabric to create softer, fuller folds for a more luxurious drape.
