Home Office Style

The concept of the home office has been creeping up on us. With more and more people working from home and companies realising the benefit of higher productivity. There is a growing trend to the notion of working from home but still belonging to a larger organisation, and with Teams, Zoom, Cisco, Webex and the like, we are all still all very well connected. So as remote capabilities flourish what does the home office look like?

Dry and textured fabrics maintain a certain sense of calm and certainly allow for constructive thinking. EQUILIBRIUM……is an obvious choice.

As we embrace this newer way of working, it will be more normal to consider creating a work environment with desks for positive thinking and easy chairs for a more informal way of life. All our new upholstery fabricsVIRTUE, ECLIPSE, ASPEN, MERIDIAN, LUSTRE, INSPIRE and ELITE make extremely versatile and durable chair solutions. They are stylish (of course!) and practical due to their Enduracare technology offering flame retardant, waterproof, stain resistant and anti-microbial features.

Desk life is a big consideration when deciding where to comfortably create “the office”. Does it have to be in the bedroom? In which case best to keep things clean and simple. ORION dimout fabric and MATRIX woven fabric are easy going options but remember to consider screen time and the “do not disturb” signage!

Styling can be suitably personal in your very own home office and plants and good light will maintain a constructive sense of well being whilst focussing effectively on work challenges.
