INSPIRATION: Wood effect
With an ethos that is all about naturally inspired textures, the wood look lingers within the design sphere and continues to capture our imagination. So much of design these days must be “perfect” but somehow the wood effect trend has worked at the opposite end of the scale and endorsed the fact that there is beauty in imperfection.
Wood effects have hugely influenced textures and fabric effects over the few last seasons; with trends covering organic and synthetic, and textured patterns – equal characteristics are seen in almost every collection in furnishing fabrics.
We have seen a huge usage of semi-plains and plains being used in the contract industry and to follow the success of our woven fabric collections SOHO CLUB and SANCTUARY; we are launching a new addition to our single drape offering.
A single drape that can work independently or mix and match cleverly with other colours; MATRIX woven fabric is versatile enough for wide width curtains as well as base valences and the regular mix of interior accessories – it proves that technical finesse can be achieved within a single substrate. Three tone mixes of colour ensure that the strié effect is emphasised referencing a super contemporary piece of fabric. There is a wealth of colours within the considered palette – plenty of modern neutrals and exciting colours to choose.
Unpretentious, casual and suitably modern; MATRIX defines easy to use window treatments. The strié effect captures wood grain so effectively.
