Print Base Fabrics
Choose from 17 different base cloths, all of which are flame retardant and are widely used in education, healthcare, hospitality, public buildings and domestic homes. Options of printing on narrow and wide widths (137cm to 300cm) are available on some of our base cloths. First choose your print design, then choose your print base fabric.

A contemporary textured woven look curtain fabric intended to coordinate with a wide variety of decorative fabrics and interior schemes; DISCOVERY is presented in a range of 29 trend-led colourways in narrow and wide width. This attractive range has excellent practical qualities as it includes a three-pass blackout coating offering complete light exclusion, is stain repellent, has thermal properties and meets UK and international flame retardant standards. One of our popular dimouts; VENUS is a soft handle plain weave with a mix of 39 colourways varying from calming and reflective to vibrant and energetic, making it the perfect choice for any interiors scheme. This inherently flame retardant dimout fabric is produced with a dense weave, diffusing 97-99% of the light, therefore suiting the wide-ranging requirements of contract end users. VENUS can also be used as a base fabric to print your bespoke designs onto – see our Printlab . This attractive bold range has excellent practical qualities including acoustic sound absorption, meets UK and international flame retardant standards, and is available in both narrow and wide width. VENUS can also be washed at 71 degrees for thermal disinfection, therefore, extremely easy to care for and clean. In additional, this fabric is OEKO-TEX® certified, which means that it is completely free from harmful chemicals and safe for human use. This fabric is widely used across the hospitality, cruise, healthcare, education and workplace markets, and can also be used in a domestic setting.
